Black Joker is quickly being recognized through out the industry as one of the best all around bulls to use on cow herds. He combines calving ease, with great performance. He is our first choice on our heifer's and our first choice on mating to cows that need some length and thickness. Joker has been tested homozygous polled and does come from two of the breeds most renowned homozygous polled animals, Polled Thunder is his sire and our great donor cow Phenomenon is his dam.
His ability to pass along the great traits that you would expect from these two great bloodlines will add value to your commercial herd or your purebred herd. His sons pack performance and his daughters are some of the best producing and phenotype correct replacements in our herd. Performance, calving ease, and homozygous polled all in one package. Mr BOR 06731U is pictured at left on his first outing into the show ring. He is a natural born Joker son out of one of our outstanding Black Tom x Slingshot daughters. Tom was a female maker that put volume in his progeny and Slingshot is one of our top donors after getting it done in the pasture for us for years. Pictured at left is the 2009 Houston Reserve Grand Champion female sired by Joker. Thank you to the Hick's family for letting us use this photo. Notice her perfect udder and the outstanding calf at side. This is her first calf and also notice how well she has held up with body condition. This is the kind of bull that gets it done for you.
