We have been looking for a outstanding young full blood bull to use on our homozygous polled females to help maintain performance and power. When this bull Mr LLB S52 became available in the National Sale in 2008 we did our research and decided that this was an opportunity that we wanted to try. Out of the proven herd sire Gage and a Hari daughter we felt he fit our program to a tee. We have calves on the ground out of this outstanding herdsire. I believe that he is one of the best performing full blood bulls to ever walk the pastures at Broken Oak Ranch. He stamps his calves all the same way, no matter the type of cow we used him on. His calves have averaged an 86 pound birth weight with no assisted births to date. His progeny have weaned off at a 525 average. We do recommend him for use on mature cows.
