Mr LLB S52 Lynyrd Skynyrd

When this bull Mr LLB S52 became available in the National Sale in 2008 we did our research and decided that this was an opportunity that we wanted to try. Out of the proven herd sire Gage and a Hari daughter we felt he fit our program to a tee. He first had to finish his star performance at the NCBA convention in Reno where the Braunvieh Association had a live cattle display. From reports I believe he can claim the title of the most photographed Braunvieh bull to date in 2008.

We have calves on the ground out of this outstanding herdsire. I believe that he is the best performing full blood bull to ever walk the pastures at Broken Oak Ranch. He stamps his calves all the same way, no matter the type of cow we used him on. His calves have averaged an 86 pound birth weight with no assisted births to date. We do not have weaning info on his progeny yet as we have sold all of his calves to date at the side of their dams. The calves sold the cows. We do recommend him for use on mature cows. He really is putting the butts and guts into his progeny.
