Broken Oak Ranch is excited about our latest bull acquisition. Introducing TML SILVERADO 108S (PB60577)

 Beverly, Larry, and Roger McDowall pictured with Silverado as the Grand Champion Bull at the 2008 Ft. Worth Stock Show. Silverado went on to become the 2008 Show Bull of the Year. This was one of the largest shows to date. Remember he is just a yearling. What potential this young bull has, and what a future not only in the show ring but the pasture. Embryo's out of him and some of our top donor females are on the ground now. His pedigree is just awesome. His sire, Double Eagle is what we are using as an AI sire on many of our replacement heifers. His dam WTR Nutter Butter is out of WTR Lollipop who I have always felt was one of the most phenotypical correct Braunvieh cows in the breed. Double this up with WTR Baylee as a grand dam and you have cow power in a pedigree second to none. Grand sires are Silverwood Dragon and North Star Vernon just make this genetic package one that is just to hard to not try.

Silverado is pictured in August 2008. We are having calves out of him now and we are not disappointed. Thank you to Albert and Joan Thorne for their purchase of semen in our 2008 production sale. We can't wait to see the calves out of their superior cow herd. The calves have not been a disappointment. They are just outstanding. Thank you to Flying I Ranch for the purchase of our embryo package in the January 2009 National Sale of Silverado x Miss BOR C Phenomenoneins 1, our Phenomenon clone.

Silverado is pictured here as the 2009 Houston Grand Champion. He also was Grand Champion in San Antonio in 2009 and is the 2009 Show Bull of the Year. He is at work in our pastures this breeding season producing progeny our of our outstanding Cow families, our show barn is full of his progeny, wait until you see them. He stamps them just like he is.
