PFI Western Union was our choice for a herd sire when we were looking for a bull that was an out cross to many of our genetics. His impressive genetic growth potential was something that we were very excited about.

 We purchased him in January 2007 at the National Braunvieh Sale held in Ft Worth, brought him home cut out his nose ring and put him right to work. He had a chance at being show bull of the year after all of the hard work Brinks Livestock had put in displaying and showing him but we are in the breeding business. He has not disappointed us yet. His great disposition has been a real added plus. Bred at Pella Farms in Nebraska this bull puts together their program in a very respectable way. We have had another pleasant surprise with his calves that have been born, all being very energetic and averaging an 80 pound birth weight. He has not had 50 calves yet so the verdict is still out as to whether he will make us a calving ease heifer bull.
